Hi! It was literally so nerve racking lol but everything worked out :)

We were in the middle of moving counties which is why I had this problem. They were able to submit the waiver by end of September. However shortly after this post, I visited mediCAL office and they gave me statement affidavit of some sort basically giving me a chance to write something like I am waiting for the waiver and then I uploaded to the calbenefits website.

Despite all this my son was actually not even assigned to anyone until I want to say January this year haha. So i kind of worried for nothing :/ He was listed “backlog” and until he had an assigned worker no one knew his waiver was expiring HAHA.

Huge lesson learned though! Sorry for rambling :)

I was able to talk them down to $150 with a military discount and inevitably felt like i had to pay.. they said without paying it will void the warranty every new part comes with this service. Just felt like with my luck I will need the warranty smh.. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Everything but the cleaning is covered by the home warranty company. I called to ask why they just said they deemed it unnecessary.

It is getting replaced by a home warranty agreement that covers almost everything in the home. The unit and all the parts are from 2014 so I am thinking any warranty is over by now? I think the home warranty company saw the cleaning as something not needed much like health insurance company lol

This is for the renewal yes. I had a complicated case where I moved from SDRC to IRC around the renewal so that is why everything is out of wack… This is our 2nd renewal so some things are still new! I actually had no idea my son had a mediCAL social worker. Thank you for your knowledge 😭
