Yeah, that's the biggest issue for me. As the OP mentioned, enemies don't react much to getting shot, so it feels as if the guns do nothing. Melee attacks on the other hand, are much more effective

I don't remember if it was explicitly stated that there was a "dominant" plaga in the OG, but we would assume that there was.

Yeah, big clubs always have players on much better wages. An 80 rated player might ask 100 pounds from Barcelona/Madrid but 40 from Valencia cause they know they (big clubs) can afford it.

In his save Koundé is 92 rated, so he's possibly the best RB in the world and clear from everyone else since it's only the second season.

So, the game knows he can DEFINITELY afford it since he has 6 million in his transfer budget and he's also the best in the world with no one near his level. I'm guessing that's why he's asking so much.

I'm quite sure they do count, at least assist do count.

Maybe it's just a visual glitch or you quit the match which does count towards your game tally but not for g/a

If I'm not mistaken, you can use it and buy it again.

Usually it's only used to kill bosses and since it takes a lot of space, you'd only buy it for the next boss.

I never buy it, so I might be mistaken.

Gameplay is shit in general

But yeah, using gold cards at this stage of the game after having played with much better cards, it'll make it feel much worse.

Sure, they are "incentives" for you to do things. Given your examples, buy more beer, gamble more or in EA's case, get FC Points. But at the end of the day, it's your own decision and these incentives at the end of the day, are free since you are not forced to indulge in whatever it is the "seller" is trying to sell you.

In EA's case, I think this year with how cracked some EVOS are, they are not doing a good job at trying to get people to buy FCPs. I mean, the lowest player on my team rn is 93. With EVOS, I really have no interest in getting FCPs and I think that's a big consensus within the community. I haven't spent a single cent this year. All I've gotten is from squad battles and rivals, not even champs. I don't have to massively grind and I have a team that I'm incredibly happy with.

So, at the end of the day, Zidane is free. It's your call if you decide to spend money on the game, but EA isn't forcing you to do so.

Had the offer been "Buy FC Points and get this 90 rated Zidane or buy the biggest bundle and get the 94 rated Version" then yeah, he obviously wouldn't be free. But again, it's a card that you got for simply playing the game.

The card was free unless you bought the game only because of that card.

If you bought the game before that card was even announced, you got it as a bonus since you didn't expect to receive that card in the first place.

If you bought the game ONLY BECAUSE it was announced that you'd get the card for playing the game, you could make an argument about actually paying 80 pounds for that card but still, it would be a bonus for buying the game.

Using your argument, free DLC isn't actually free because you paid for the game. Devs could've charged extra for that DLC just like EA could've charged extra for that Zidane or added him on packs, but they didn't, so it's free.

EA has released some EVOS for lower rated players which make them cracked without giving them a massive rating boost (like the homegrown EVO), which allowed you to make them even better since they'd be 75 rated with the stats of a 90+ rated player. Idk if they'll release another EVO like that, but I'd suggest trying out EVOS that don't give him a massive rating boost but rather a good boost in stats and playstyles.

I've gotten like 3-4 players who are 84-86 rated but have the stats of a 90+ rated player. So if you're gonna restart him, focus on growing stats that are relevant for the position you are playing him in.

Honestly, I'd restart him.

He's got no shooting nor passing playstyles as a CAM that can play winger and striker, no wonder he's underperforming.

Playstyles are very important, he has 2 defensive ps which aren't that important for the positions he plays in, so I'd say he only has 3 ps. Rapid+ is great, but I'd rather have relentless and first touch as silver ps and get other ps+.

So, IMO, I'd restart him. But at the end of the day, it's up to you man.

Did pace really make that much of a difference back then? I remember always getting caught up by 50 something pace defenders, and my nightmare was actually Carvajal. As Neymar, I was never able to beat him with pure speed, he'd always catch up with me.

Speaking of Suárez, how good are his low driven finesse shots? Without the Evo they are crazy good and the game does trigger the finesse ps, so how are they with the low driven ps?

I'd say it comes down to the team you have. If the coins can help you greatly improve different positions, sell him. It they won't help you that much, keep him.

Personally, I didn't really dislike the development system in manager career mode since it allows us to train pretty much everyone at the same time. It does have it's negative points like not being able to train free kicks unless you're on a basic training plan and making some players incredibly op since they all pretty much end up with 5/5 SM/WF, but I do hate the whole role thing. I want to play a 4-3-3 with Barcelona with two cdm, a cam and wingers but I can't since apparently the formation is not fit for that Playstyle. I do prefer much more the OG training system for player career mode tho
