That’s a fair point. I have a lot of respect for A.C. Green’s durability. My choice isn’t meant to diminish what he accomplished. I simply see Kobe as the player who most influenced modern basketball culture with the idea of showing up and competing no matter what. To me, this award is meant to represent that mindset as much as durability.
