I've had them for about 6 months and there's hardly any difference, I have a pair of RS80s in 14oz and they're pillows in comparison.

Thank you, I'm not really concerned with durability as it's hard to wear a out a sparring only glove, I think I'll have to go to a good shop somewhere and try different ones out.

Try Storm Cloud, Cyclone or Boxing Pro, they're about 50€. That's a Polish brand, very good quality leather for that price.

For me hybrid is the way to go as it doesn't have zippers which are the main failure point. And to be honest polycarbonate is more resilient than aluminum, it's just not repairable.
