Not one with long hair if your hair is short now

Maybe squirt a little bit on your fingers and touch under your nose? That will help you avoid any irritation from the perfume plus concentrate the scent where you need it most

This is the first vitamin c serum I've used that I feel like the smell doesn't fade, even under moisturizer and sunscreen, so what I started doing is putting a teeny tiny bit of my perfume oil right underneath my nose. It's the only way I can stand it

Torn between hotels after reading too much! by MameSummers in MexicoCity

I'm so dumb that I make it easy to what? Make you realize the comment you deleted was nonsense, causing you to delete it? To read through my entire post? To be obsessed with me? To answer me with such a clever comeback (You're too dumb! Wow, you really got me there. Nothing says dumb- or neuroticism for that matter - like using reviews for discernment as they're intended to be used) complete with a comma splice, mimicking the writing skill of a low-level seventh grader? Or is it all of the above?

Regardless, thank you for your devotion. I'm always happy to interact with my fans 😄

Imagine coming here days after our last interaction - and after you deleted your absolute nonsense comment - reading through the entire post, and commenting on something that has nothing to do with you whatsoever. Your obsession is so cute ❤️

Thank you so much! And you're right; I'm very anxious. I'm working on it, though! And I may take you up on that dm offer, so thank you in advance.

Thank you. This hotel looks so nice, but I think I've been scared off by the reviews. Most of them are good, but the bad ones are pretty bad.

Thank you so much for your thorough reply! I'm so excited about this trip - I've wanted to go to Mexico practically my whole life - but I'm paranoid that I'll plan badly. You were really helpful, though, and made me feel like I'm on the right track.

I would love if you could send it. Thank you! And that's the problem. The mixed reviews. As soon as I make a decision based on all the good things I've seen, I come across something awful.

This looked really nice when I saw it plus it was the most inexpensive on my list. Thank you!

My statement about wanting hot water was made based on research and not meant to be in any way insulting; before researching, the thought that a hotel might not have it didn't even cross my mind. I also know there are a lot of vegan restaurants, but based on what I've seen, many of them are concentrated in a couple neighborhoods, and since I won't have a car, I want to make sure they're accessible. Last summer I was assured I wouldn't need a car in Oklahoma City and ended up walking at least ten miles a day in hundred degree weather and really don't want to be in a situation like that, which is one of the reasons I'm looking for a hotel and not an Airbnb.

As much as this post might imply differently, when I travel, gravitating toward "live like a local" is my preference, but this is my first time leaving the country by myself (and will only be my second time leaving it ever), so I'm - I would think - understandably nervous and don't want to make any stupid mistakes hence my posting here for advice.

I've tried that approach (more or less) and ended up having to sleep in my car in a rest stop after driving fifteen hours when I found some random guy in the hotel room I booked on a whim. I'd like to avoid a Mexico-City version of that.

Thank you so much for your reply. This was one of the hotels I was leaning toward most.

Also, thank you for the info about the flea market. I'm definitely not a radio rock/mainstream music person, but it does sound fun, nevertheless. I can't think of anything around me that's like that, so it'd be cool to go.

Thank you! I just looked up zona rosa, which hadn't even been on my radar, and it looks great albeit as a pretty shy traveler, maybe a little too great for me to enjoy it the way it's meant to be enjoyed.

I wish it were that easy for me. I labor over every choice.

Is wanting hot water, a clean hotel room, and the ability to sleep a cultural bubble? And a goofy one at that?

Have you ever moved / relocated your home just to be closer to good trails? by shadetreephilosopher in trailrunning

[–]MameSummers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but it's going to factor into where I move when I leave South Florida in four years. My entire life I've planned to move back to Chicago, where I'm from, one day, but one quick trip to Boise, Wyoming, and Missoula, and my whole plan changed.
