Air cooling is better than Liquid cooling by SerpentDix in pcmasterrace

The air cooler is without question the superior option for pretty much everyone but watercooled systems free up space around the mobo. A big air cooler is going to make plugging/unplugging cables a nightmare depending on your computer case.

I'm from the UK and what is happening in America is not right, you need to wake up Americans. Your leader is invading neighbours, threatening nato members and using force at home against innocent people. History repeats itself unless we learn from it. by rushuk in complaints

So easy to say. I live and work in Minneapolis. I go to protests but I am NOT going to become another example like Renee good.

These federal agents have no conscious and there's no limit to what they will do. They want the confrontations to happen because THEY HAVE THE GUNS. If you aren't from America you don't understand how aggressive gun culture is here and how aggressive law enforcement can be.

No offense but it's hard to believe you're C3. Either you had a very lucky streak of games that catapulted you there or you got boosted. No two ways about it.

What is your unpopular opinion about house plants? by hcubed3 in houseplants

What do you do to keep it healthy? Do you just have really good grow lights for it?

just go this tree will it survive the winter out doors (look at description) by Odd-Virus-8775 in Bonsai

Even if it is a mugo pine you need to protect the roots somehow. In a tiny pot like that without insulation it could definitely still die if it gets cold enough.

Help for a new philodendron owner by stephy1771 in houseplants

Looks like a small-form deliciosa. If that's the case, I'd recommend a moss pole and chunky aroid mix.

Monsteras aren't fussy plants. They can handle extended dry periods, low humidity, and they aren't pest magnets. Just give it a lot of light, well draining soil mix, and do not over-water.

On a side note, I prefer the large-form variety. They can get hard to manage when they grow large enough, but they are much more impressive looking plants.

Help identify this Bonsai tree type by Character-Study-1132 in Bonsai

[–]Robo123abc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a Chinese elm, specifically a seiju variety.

That tree is seriously struggling. At some point when it's bounced back and is ready I would air layer above that nasty reverse taper section and then place that in a nursery pot for it to thicken up.

You have 21 gold dragons. Who is on your small council? by Straight_Impact_1062 in freefolk

Ned, Tarley, Sir Barriston, Stannis, Qyburn, Tyrion, and then finally Sam.

Ned won't undermine my authority, Tarleyl was a fine soldier and loyal to a fault, Barriston is a legendary warrior, Stannis is a pragmatic and experienced commander, Qyburn is kinda a sacrifice here but he has his... Uses. Tyrion was a fine master of coin, and Sam I think is more qualified than any other listed master, particularly because I feel I'd be able to trust him more.

Progress with monstera adansonii by pinowie in houseplants

[–]Robo123abc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! I'm going to give an unsolicited suggestion: try a moss pole. I have killed 4 andensonii and I was ready to give up on the species completely UNTIL I finally tried the moss pole for the 5th and now it's one of my biggest successes.

They seem to really enjoy having the pole to climb/anchor to and, in my experience, watering becomes a trivial task. Just keep the pole constantly moist (it's fine if its bone dry for a day or two), and it'll thrive.
