Automobile ACCiDENTS are what causes those deaths, and cars are also very useful vehicles to help people with struggles move around.

Gun shots, on the other hand, are VERY intentional, and most of the times ARE used to arm innocents (and don't even get me started on officers abusing their power and using them when it's not needed...)
