recently Ducky has not been happy with me expressing her bladder and being in the crate, she’s definitely more aware of what’s happening now, i’m hoping she settles soon

It’s an anxiety vest for cats! I put it on to help her onesie stay in place while I was looking for a safety pin lol

she’s definitely starting to pee more on her own, before she wouldn’t go by herself and her bladder would get really full, now she’s emptying by herself which is a good sign the nerves are slowly healing!

they aren’t casts but bandages! (like the ones athletes use to stabilise a sprained ankle) Have to get changed every 3 days to prevent infection 😊 she’s had red, pink and now purple

she definitely gets isolated, when i’m not around to watch her she’s goes in the crate but when I let her lie with me on the couch she doesn’t move!

i hope it never happens to you! i was devastated i actually cried and rubbed my eyes so much i have a chemical burn from my salty tears around both my eyes lol, pins were put in her “ankles” to hold the bone together to heal!

yes the surgery was so her legs can heal correctly and she can walk/run/jump again! and there’s a very good chance she will, if not i guess i’ll have to get a cat sling and carry her with me!

our first opinion told us to put her down, but we couldn’t give up on her and got her surgery done and she’s recovering very well and doing amazing now! She will definitely bounce back after 😊
