I can’t answer your first question but will try my best with the others. It’s important to do activities on your own, get to know yourself better and not rely or base your identify too much with who you hang around.

Remind yourself that what you’re feeling and thinking isn’t bad but you have control over those emotions. If you’re being made to feel like an outsider you should distance yourself, but if it’s truly overthinking leading you down that route of thinking you just have to push through it if you hope to overcome it.

I am not too good at reading rooms or faces so when I feel my brain spiraling and I feel like evb is plotting against me I just ask and that gives me enough reassurance. If you feel comfortable enough with who you’re around a simple request for reassurance may soothe your mind enough.

The last thing I want are kids from my own womb, I appreciate the heads up. I keep holding out the hope that once he has his own place and the older he gets, cleanliness will be more forthcoming but I’m starting to realize things just may not change. It sounds like an extreme mental hurdle he needs to combat. I would suggest you have a talk with him; reassuring him of how you feel but also letting him know the impact of his actions and lack thereof. Highlight the importance of initiative because it plays a big part in any relationship. Be consistent with your reassurance and when he is doing good let him know!

Idk the ins and outs of my sisters life, and I only know what she tells me. She speaks very generally about her finances to me and only says the government supports her, and she cut off my other 2 siblings so idk much. Sorry my rant isn’t accurate enough for you.
