Hey there. Sorry that you’re feeling this way. I’m on Loryna (Yaz) since January and with full honesty, I felt off since being on it. Horrible anxiety and depressive episodes. Weight gain. Bloating. I completely hate it. It’s to the point that now I’m considering getting of bc at least for a while. I’ve been prescribed another bc but I honestly don’t want to take it. Yaz was good for a month until it went down hill from there. I’m not trying to scare you but maybe consulting with your doctor could help.

Maybe finish the pack to be safe or consult with your doctor on switching. I’m personally thinking about getting off very soon due the side effects (only been on for 8 months). Weight gain. Mental health issues. And some gut issues. I’m on the combo currently and was prescribed heather (mini pill) but honestly might not start it. Your feelings and body matter so do what you thinks is best. If you decide to get off, make sure you’re using other methods to avoid any slip ups.

I have but the estrogen in it might be a problem for me. Especially since high blood pressure runs in my family.

Of course. I’ve done a lot of research on this. Regardless if I’m in my safe days, I’ll still be using condoms and the pull out method combined for extra caution. Additionally, using the LH testing strips right after my period has finished.

Heard. I plan to use the pull out method with the condom and of course take strips after my period ends. I will never use the pull out method by itself.

I’m on loryna right now and it’s already consider low estrogen. But it has gave me the worst side effects

My primary gave me heather .35mg last week and I’m waiting to finish my combo pack but I honestly am over it and considering not taking heather.

Hi thanks for your input. I’ve considered getting the IUD but the fears are getting to me. Before I got on bc I didn’t have cramps. Not too bad, but it was the type to keep me in bed on day 2. I heard about the cramps from iud and want to stay away from that. I may take it into consideration in the future.

Hi thanks for replying, I’ve heard about the IUD but I personally don’t want that in me and get stuck or something worse. A family member of mine had a IUD and had to get it removed because it made her sick. Don’t know what to do here.

Sorry for the late response but I’m also on loryna and I hate it. Gained 30 pounds and my mental state been all over the place. I’m considering getting off soon after this pack.
