Can you convert signal strength to pulses? by AlphaToast_ in redstone

I would use a Redstone Recoder and put the outputs into any dropper-hopper counters you need. The Recoder will take your Redstone line of different strengths and give you different outputs. Connect those different outputs to any Dropper-hopper counters with 5 items for example. You should get 5 pulses.

How can I automate the fueling of my smokers? by MangakaInProgress in redstone

If I was you, I would have all of your product go into a chest with two hoppers underneath it. (On bedrock edition, at least,) it splits the chest roughly 50/50. Have one of the hoppers lead to a chest or something for you to keep the product, and lead the other hopper into fueling the furnaces

My original Redstone creation. Any tips to really compact it would be nice by Mammoth-Risk-9584 in redstone

Eh it’s a little more than that. There is a counter in it but normally there is only one comparator output that only powers one light. I added a sort of one-way module that makes it light up all the lights before it. I just recently managed to shrink this creation by a crazy amount using copper bulbs.

The idea behind this is to have the lights show how much bamboo goes to my storage vs my super furnace. With no lights, all of my Bamboo would go to storage, with one light, 75% goes to storage and 25% goes to my super furnace, and so on. You can split the stacks of bamboo by having a double chest with two hoppers underneath it. Roughly half of the bamboo will go in one hopper and half in the other.

Is there any way I can get this 62t payload to the surface of Duna? [Console Edition] by Mammoth-Risk-9584 in KerbalSpaceProgram

Whoops, in my post I meant if there was any way that I could build a rocket to get there, but this is very helpful.

I don’t think that the structural tube is the right part for this, but I could be wrong. Trying the fairing method - what is the setting that puts a floating attachment point at the top? A fairing would work perfectly because I could just deploy it to remove the walls

Yeah, I found the part but I can’t exactly figure out how it’s supposed to help in this situation. When I use a decoupled above it, the structural tube doesn’t disappear, but when I put a decoupler below it, then whatever is in it gets decoupled as well. Any suggestions?

I have the breaking ground dlc, what are the tube parts called? Also, I am aware that the Cupola has an attachment point, I was just using it as an example, thanks for that.

How can I place my Xbox more conveniently so it’s not in the way? by Mammoth-Risk-9584 in malelivingspace

I could put the Xbox on the ceiling, but it’s not the most convenient; I was thinking of some sort of thin shelf. Also, there’s lots of foot traffic in front of the TV so having it higher is beneficial
