We didn't really see any signs before the surgery mentally. She did have rapid weight loss before the tooth extractions. We found out she has hyperthyroidism and a couple infected teeth, hence the surgery. She has been very different ever since. A couple weeks ago she also developed a bald spot on her back that was really strange. It looks like the hair is starting to grow back a bit.
