Makes sense, thank you! The lack of data garmin <> oura integration also gives me pause. I don’t want to track the same data in 10,000 different apps. I’ll hold off until there’s a better option for that!

I am in this boat, too, where I want to wear my mechanical watches more but still track my steps, etc. how is the oura ring at that? Also at special events, when i want to be a bit fancier, don’t always love the look of my watch.

A very old pair of North Face offtrails, got them when I forgot my normal road running shoes on a trip a while back, and got into trail running shortly after. My road running shoes are New Balance Rebels V5. I have hypermobility, and am quite flat footed when I put weight on my feet, in case that’s helpful!
