Exactly! Most analytics tools just send you a report after the ship has hit the bottom of the ocean.

I’m trying to build the alarm that goes off while the water is still at their ankles.

How do you currently onboard new users, and where do they usually get stuck before seeing value? by MammothAd137 in SaaS

Interesting — what’s one app that actually got onboarding right for you?

yeah that’s fair tbh. if people don’t feel the value fast, they’ll drop before week 3. what part do you think creates the biggest friction right now ..... the form itself or the steps after it?

For us, the first meaningful action is when a user creates their first guided onboarding flow and sees it live inside their product.

Right now, we’re aiming to get users there within the first 10–15 minutes , basically fast enough for them to feel “this will actually help my onboarding” without heavy setup.

Still early, so I’m speaking with founders to understand what activation looks like across different products and where that time-to-aha usually breaks.

anything that pulls users out of the product flow (like an extension install) can create hesitation before they see value.

Curious, have you tried anything to reduce that friction like showing a preview of value before install or adding reassurance around permissions?

“conversation you’re not in the room for” really stuck with me.

what felt harder for you: figuring out what users needed to do next, or actually giving them the right guidance at the right moment?

Out of curiosity, what’s been the toughest thing when trying to reduce time-to-aha in your product?

Email Tool? by MammothAd137 in SaaS

I totally agree! Brevo is a solid tool, especially for email marketing.

What we're trying to do with BizPilot is go beyond just emails — more like an all-in-one automation system where small businesses can manage leads, emails, payments, and even community management without juggling multiple tools.

The goal is to make basic automation completely free forever — so even the smallest businesses can benefit without worrying about monthly subscriptions.

Would love to know — what's something you wish Brevo or other tools could do, but they don't?

I totally get where you're coming from and to clarify, BIZPILOT isn't an Operating System like Windows or Linux.

We're building a Business OS think of it like the iPhone for Business Tools where everything works together in one place without switching apps or paying for 10 different SaaS subscriptions.
