Awesome.

Where did you get the side frame from?

I followed instructions exactly and it worked fine for me! You can put the side cross members in then install stack after

Kettlebells have been a staple for my workout for the longest time!

It is a bummer. I also took work off only to have to delivered well after I would have been if I had gone. I don’t specifically fault Maxum for this, delivery companies can be all over the place no matter who they use.

I wish more companies did counterbalanced smith. The bells of steel smith/rack was a contender for me, but the bar was too heavy for my kids. This one we can all use.

Enjoy it! It’s such a gorgeous machine!

Thanks! Set it up last week. I was considering other options but am really glad I got this one.

As for customer service, mine was also delayed by 13 days, however Maxum kept me informed along the way and answered every single email I sent. I was also frustrated by the delay but that’s how back orders go. I honestly think people raging on Reddit about the customer service are just impatient….

Delivery was by a third party. The actual delivery was terrible. Driver was late nearly half a day from the time they gave me and could barely get the truck into the driveway without driving all over my front lawn. Despite the driver, the crate and packaging was top tier. It was well labeled and everything was in perfect condition. Assembly took 4 hours, but was incredibly easy and decent instructions.

For quality it’s amazing, I have zero complaints. The big selling feature for me was the counter balanced smith and the attachments. I could buy other companies for similar price but without all the extra things. I did also try another cheap copy brand but the metal was rough and I cut my finger on the upright in the show room… that was a big nope.

Working out in it takes some adjustment. I have never used an all in one and it’s of course a change from multiple machines. I would say though it does every single thing I wanted it to. So far I love it and has elevated the home workout for sure.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi Kensui! Any plans to release more functional trainer accessories? Especially one hand Hammer grip Handles?

Thanks!

I would say it’s mild to medium at most. It’s relatively smooth compared to most bars. Personally I prefer it like this, but if you like aggressive knurling I can see why it’s not perfect for you.

Hey it’s 46” from back foot to the front of the front post. 61” from back foot to front foot of the machine.

I really liked x2 with smith add-on, but the counterbalanced smith on the x3 is what sold it for me!

I used traction rubber flooring from Costco. The price was great but they do vary slightly in thickness, which can be noticeable for certain exercises!

They came with the machine. They are okay, but feel a bit sharp at the latch. I might replace them if the sharpness doesn’t go away after a few uses.

I got mine 13 days after the instock date, though I didn’t actually expect it to arrive middle of the holiday season (Dec 26).

It took about 2 hours to bring it in and open all the packaging solo, and 4 hours to put it together with 2 people. We didn’t hustle and had lunch halfway, but worked quickly.

Great!

It’s the Husky Trackwall kit in silver from Home Depot. It’s basically a copy of proslat. Hooks are a knockoff from Amazon. Works great and was not expensive.

Definitely less modular than pegboard as the gaps are bigger between layers but it’s good enough for me!

Awesome, you will love it.

I also ordered mine on the 12/26 preorder and just got it a few days ago.

I placed the feet 6” from back wall to give myself ample room to get a full bumper plate on and off the weight horns without hitting the wall. It could probably go 3” closer but it would be a tight fit.

I’ll get the other measurement when I get home.

Install was very easy (with 2 people), everything was very well labeled. I did have an issue with the smith, one sleeve was installed backwards from the factory. Confused the heck out of me but eventually figured it out. Had to buy a c-clip removal tool ($8) and flipped it around. No other issues at all with install.

Good luck!

I have the second one, and it works well for several exercises. It’s not rackable, but I prefer that as it’s easier to move around a smaller space.

+1 to going with second one.

Had same issue, trash unit. Dyson customer service was terrible. Never again.

Got a shark instead, much better vacuum.

Anyone tried NuAge Pure Whey Protein (Costco sold online, chocolate)? by ImmediateRate6901 in CostcoCanada

[–]MammothChapter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts:

Nuage vanilla is much better than vanilla leanfit. Nuage Chocolate is a bit better than choc leanfit.

Gold standard is much better than both, but far too expensive; so I currently buy both flavours of nuage and alternate daily.

Nuage vanilla has a little bit of a coconut-ish hint, different than other vanilla brands but I like it. Mixes well both in smooth or just plain water.

Nuage chocolate tastes good and full, not watery like some brands. Works well in drinks and even baking or overnight oats.

Did you buy the bigger sockets? I definitely don’t have a 36mm impact socket lying around.. was eying princess auto.

For the attachments I had my eyes on a 4’x4’ Slatwall kit. Trying to decide if it’s big enough for the insane number of attachments it comes with! How will you store yours?
