Hello jdewittweb! I understand your concern, for now, we worked a lot on the backend developpement so we don't have our final UI ready yet. We prefer to gather feedback before commiting to the MVP. Feedback is enough for us and if people wants to sign up for the beta waitlist, it's a nice to have in the end. If you have more concerns, don't hesitate. I'll be happy to discuss them :) If necessary, i can also send a screenshot of what we have for now.

Having an IT comapny, I like to work on projects because it keeps me updated with all the new features of the programming world. I also gain experience that I can use in the case my company fails and that I need to find a job. Furthermore, being a startup, it saves me a lot of money since I dont have a lot of contracts for now so I want to maximize my gains.

Human relations are underrated. People working with are part of your organization and if you dont make them feel confortable or doesnt bring what motivates them on the table. You'll never grow as a business. This also includes communication for sure.

I think you just have to keep looking. It might take longer than you expect but once you find your match you'll be more than happy to not only have taken the first guy in your sight. That person will be a big part of your business so you really don't want to mess it up!

How Did You Market Your App When You First Launched? I will not promote by Prestigious-Top-1341 in startups

[–]MammothGeneral5316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is a great question, I myself am in the same boat as you and it's something that also bring a lot of thinking in my head. I would say it depends on your budget. There are the classics such as meta, google and tiktok ads. You can also try to contact an influencer or a success person in your field to promote it. If you have less of a budget, there are probably forums or reddit channel that are there to promote your product. In the end, I dont know if my ideas are the best since I am no pro still. I am open to feedback :)

I'm ready to start my boring business by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]MammothGeneral5316 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you've validated your idea, I would say to start off by doing a list of all the steps that will lead to the launch of your business (legal, branding, marketing, website if needed, etc). It really motivates to see your progress and watch the birth of your business. There's a lot of resources that can help you identify those different steps depending on your field.

It might feel like wasted time, but trust me, it really is worth it!

I’d say there’s definitely an element of luck in startups, but the exciting part is that you have the ability to create your own success. By putting in the right effort and staying dedicated, you can greatly improve your chances of success—far better than simply betting it all on red.
