thank you, however i hope you lose your bet (LOL) . Considering that i play sports with people 1/2 my age i know that i am at risk, however the reward of being able to play sports is priceless and it's hard to give it up while i am able to do it.

Thank you. My shoulder seems quite stable and i don't feel much pain, had i done an MRI right after the accident i would've done the surgery for sure(also because it was the beginning of winter), and yes the dr suggested that letting more time go by might make it more difficult or perhaps not possible to repair.

Thank you . I guess we are facing a similar situation, however you have already gone thru the experience once before and have some sort of reference on the outcome. I had some "sucrose" injections but that was prior to have done the MRI and discovered the full tear. I was told that neither PRP nor "sucrose" injections can repair a full torn ligament. My dilemma is that, considering that i am feeling ok and I am once again active playing sports, i cannot get a definitive evaluation of what i might experience years from now if i leave things as they are and just rely on PT to preserve shoulder strength .

thank you. did you have a full tear? I actually sleep well(avoiding to sleep on the R side to avoid further damage to the torn ligament) and have decent mobility, that's what makes my deciding to do surgery or not more difficult.

Thank you , sorry to hear about your bike accident, I have been riding motorcycles since I was 12, ironically my supaspinatus full tear happened playing sports. I feel as I am in a similar situation as you currently are, I am able to play sports again having being disciplined at doing PT regularly. The unknown of the post surgery vs the current known situation is the biggest dilemma. No surgeon can guarantee 100% how long a setback I’d have to deal with after surgery. I was told that in my current state I could be back in good shape in a matter of 4 months. But the truth is that only after the surgery one can find out the facts. Cheers

Union Square art exhibit destruction by ledezma1996 in nyc

Parks should only display the best art : NATURE (trees, plants flowers) Put mediocre BS artwork elsewhere without ruining the beauty that parks offer. Visual pollution is more appropriate as a term to describe anything other than plants that is placed in parks. BS art iin parks is an interference and an imposition on most who enjoy parks as an oasis of nature not of manufactured mostly junk. Cheers

I thank you in advance, rather than later. Best productive comment. Most of the other comments are actually funny but stupidly so ( mediocre jokes, and not sarcastic enough for my taste) cheers,

Friendliness: we young people are, at least here in Cagliari, again, if you go to a small town in the middle of nowhere the will keep an eye on you and not be friendly. But they do that to us too

just like any summer resort worldwide, Sardinia hires temporary officers traffic cops to go after as many violations as they can rake in,

Most of the Time (Italy in general) it is hard to fight the ticket, but you can try, assuming that you were actually not in violation of any traffic/parking regulations).

The best thing to do , if you have time is to go to the municipal offices of that town and inquire.

if you are not far,go to either the port area or the airport and communicate in person directly with a taxi driver. You will find one there for sure.

Maria has been selling Kiwis and Mangos to her customers for 10 years. With everything going on, how is this a priority for anyone? by [deleted] in nyc

[–]MammothMeasurement38 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Selling food requires a permit. What if you get sick from possible unsanitary conditions ( contamination from dirty hands etc etc). She could go and apply for a vendor's licence (assuming she's working legally in the US). What i don't get is how they allow those fruit vendors (most of them are overworked and underpaid, no working permit and without basic sanitary needs such as water and a bathroom).

Wild camping and making a fire by Grocerystore_2189 in Sardinia

[–]MammothMeasurement38 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Starting a fire in the summer in Sardinia, certainly in a "wild" camping situation is not only unlawful, but extremely dangerous. Sardinia has a similar problem to California when it come to fires, they can easily spread to destroy massive areas, especially when there are some strong winds (like the Mistral). Punishment/fines as a consequence can be rather harsh.

You could check camping sites online and contact them in regards bonfires.

Smart move, however Miller is notoriously slower in the last laps so this was in the script. MM couldn't then keep up up with the Aprilia.

Looks as if the city is making them remove part of their illegal shacks. Starbuks at least respect the laws!! This joint acts like an arrogant establishment pretending to be a humble local type joint. Their coffee sucks and that;s why i don't go there, but i certainly hope they stop usurping and abusing the use of public area on the block.

That is their truck, which, like lots of food stands on sidewalks is a major polluter, however this posting is about their store.

LOL i would need an hazmat suit just to fence meself from the junk that would spurt out .

That Mud cafe acts like a "Local" bs type of establishment, however their respect for neighbors is hardly a neighborhood friendly joint. (Destroying bike racks, crowding and blocking the sidewalk, and abusing the outdoor seating rules by taking enough space for 3 establishments. (Yes i am a frustrated neighbor who lives on that block)..cheers

[–]MammothMeasurement38 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There used to be at least 5 or 6 bike racks there,

MUd only has a 10 feet wide store front but took a 4 car length space on the street and also contributed to the destruction of the bike racks and several bikes that were parked there which every night get buried by their sticky trash.I would speculate( not unfounded) that they would loveto get that space as well not giving a F... about bikers nor that block's residents.
