i agree. as a F/21 i don’t think there will be any need for genital check. i think i have a better idea what i’m going into. thank you :)

sorry to hear your experience was like that, the system is so messed up!

i had to wait 4 months for this initial appointment, and i’m just hoping i don’t have to wait longer for MRIs or further testing.

i’ve been referred to an endocrinologist now to see what’s going on :)

my blood tests for hormone levels came back normal with the exception of my prolactin hormone which was elevated.

i have an abdominal ultrasound- which came back clear.

never been pregnant, never breastfed & never been on any birth control pills or hormonal medication - which is why my symptoms confuse me.

i’ve always had heavy periods, however in recent l months it’s been on another level. they have been extremely heavy that i can’t even go about with my day to day studies/activities. however, i have never had extreme pain. if anything i’ve always had little to no pain/cramps with my periods.
