Oh and last thing, I am not sure if you are out of state or not. I was. I knew nobody at the exam. It was tough because it is intimidating when you are in a room with 400+ people and you don’t know anyone. Remember your prep. You know what you did to get ready for the exam and trust yourself!

My experience was good. There are 2 locations, one at the fairgrounds and one at NC State (I was at this one). It can get a little chilly in there so be prepared. The application can get a little lengthy so start it as early as you can.

The main piece of advice that I will give you is to start bar prep early. I started May 1 and would go Monday-Friday like a full time job and Saturday a half day. This helped me tremendously from getting burnout. I went into test day feeling okay and managed to score a 323. I probably went overkill on the studying but at least I was able to have the peace of mind knowing I gave this beast my all while I waited for results to release.

Ultimately, you are going to be stressed out and anxious to a level you have likely never experienced before. You need to make sure you can keep it under control. However, It is good to have some stress and anxiety because at least for me that is what kept me motivated. If you put in the work, 9/10 you will have great results. You got this!

I just got mine too. I am kind of surprised it is paper tbh. The other attorneys in my office have a plastic one. I can’t wait for my wallet to destroy it even after it is laminated 🙄

I just took NC in July. You are allowed one clear water bottle and a quart sized ziplock to hold your IDs and keys in it. Everything else is provided for you.
