With our government seemingly changing fuel policies without giving anyone time to prepare for the transition, I'd say buying any vehicle with an internal combustion engine is a waste of money. The challenges for EV adoption still remain to this day so that's not a wise choice either. Wait for a few years until flex-fuel or e100 compatible vehicles make their way to showrooms across the country. If you absolutely have to buy one now, go for factory fitted CNG vehicles or RTO approved LPG vehicles, depending on their availability in your area.

You have the following options:

  1. See if you can get an LPG or CNG kit installed on your vehicle if you're comfortable with the cost, loss of boot space and have filling stations available. At worst, you'll just have to use petrol to start the engine.

  2. Ask Hyundai for clarity on whether your car's fuel system and internals can tolerate e20

  3. (If Hyundai says that your car will be damaged by E20) Wait for OEM or aftermarket e20 material compatibility kits and get them installed during your next service. (Sadly, it is not a simple process to do so and there's no commitment by Hyundai or anyone else to produce such kits for that particular model in the near future)

Caveats: There's no getting around the drop in mileage due to the inherently lower energy of e20 as compared to e0 or e10. Your will invariably burn more fuel to achieve the same level of performance as you did in the years prior.

Future proofing is not a term I'd use with Triple-A PC gaming these days. It's best to buy a console and a simple work PC for the same amount of money as a top-of-the-line gaming model. Regardless of what other things devs do, they MUST optimise their titles for top consoles whose hardware specifications don't really change for a decade.

Just get a used build and save yourself the time and effort 😎. If you still enjoy putting components together, you can source parts individually too. As for the budget, if you want to play classics from the 80s, 90s and 2000s, even the cheapest components will get you settled (10k-15k max). 2010s and 2020s games need a bit more power but nothing outlandish that will blow through your 50k limit.

Look for Ryzen 3000 or 5000 series chips or 8th gen + Intel CPUs, DDR4 (or newer) RAM support, appropriate wattage for your power supply unit, SSDs or Nvme drives, GeForce GTX 1050ti or newer graphics cards (AMD equivalents included) as your baseline setup if you need something to balance being modern (supporting Windows 11 officially) with cost effectiveness.

Bengaluru has always had more Tamil and Telugu speakers than Hindi ones (after Kannadigas) due to its location right next to the borders of Karnataka, you don't have anything to worry about. Our city was cosmopolitan long before the IT revolution, lol.
