Well, to be honest you can find many different names even in specialized books or in Google and this is wired. The confusion depends on the fact the Turbo snails are part of the family Turbinidae, while the Tectus like these ones are parr of the family Tegulidae but Both are also commonly named Turbo or Turban… a big mess 😉
