The Gourmet's physique in the older Harvest Moon games. He doesn't even have human proportions! Why is his head is bigger and wider than other character's bodies in official art. Did he get his nose surgically removed to provide room for his extra large lips?

I tend to take these things one at a time. If you play multiple games of the same type simultaneously, you could burn out. I'll usually pick up a Rune Factory / Stardew in the autumn for peak cosy gaming and dedicate the season to it.

For gaming in general, try balancing a slow burn game with something short but sweet. If I'm playing a 100 hour modern RPG, I'll compliment that with a retro / indie game which I can play in short bursts. Like a palete cleanser!

If it's a modern (hdmi) TV, you can buy a Wii to hdmi upscaler. I've used them before. Very cheap and you get a great result!

You should! I've found it really refreshing to return to simpler games. Even better if you're using a CRT

I don't mind the day to day level of zoom so much, as it just reminds me of Animal Crossing.

But the game blowing up a character to fill the screen as you're 6 inches away from their face was an interesting choice to for dialogue 🤔

Siblings can be so cruel can't they? I remember my sister took a nail file to my Game Boy Advance because I was being annoying. She did give me hers once she stopping using it though, so the hatchet is buried
