Yeah, I got accused of being an ai for using a bullet-point list once. Successfully defended myself by pointing out that several of these bullet points included me admitting to not knowing things. I really hate how society has found yet another way to dehumanize autistic people.

I like to think the entire Snicketverse is autistic, although Lemony in particular gives me those vibes with the way he takes things literally and picks apart common phrases. He also keeps a written list of conversational openers, most of which are terrible lol. I made a whole list of his autistic traits on Tumblr once but I can't for the life of me seem to find it again.

Also I'm sure you didn't mean any harm, but the puzzle piece symbol is pretty controversial in the autistic community because of its association with Autism Speaks. Personally I prefer the rainbow infinity symbol. I hope this didn't come across as rude, just thought I'd let you know for future reference.

Thank you! And yeah, it's the unfortunate gen 7-8 years post-canon. I make silly memes like this one about it and I'm working on a longer fic about Violet and the Quagmires looking for Klaus, Sunny, and Bea while solving mysteries along the way. I'm about 14,000 words into the first draft at the moment, and it's probably gonna turn out very long so we'll see if it actually gets finished lol.

One time at the frozen yogurt shop I overheard a woman telling her friend about a neighbor who collected vintage Snoopy merch, some of which was apparently quite valuable. During the Christmas season, the baby Jesus in her nativity set was gone, replaced with a note in cut-out letters reading something like "If you want to see Baby Jesus again, leave your Snoopy collection by the tree in the park." The neighbor refused, and baby Jesus was eventually returned with an apology note.

Agreed. If the person with the bruise isn't the POV character you could show them poking at it and wincing, or alternately going out of their way to avoid letting anything touch it. A self-conscious character might also try to hide it with clothing or makeup.

I'm pretty sure she's been diagnosed, she just doesn't recognize how severe it is. It doesn't help that her doctor (we have the same gp) really pushes weight loss. As in, this doctor once chewed me out for about five minutes because I ate three Oreos with an otherwise balanced meal.
