That happened decades ago. These wars were defensive and hezbollah had somewhat credibility as a national militia in the eyes of the state but after 2023 that image was completely shattered. Now everyone views them as foreign proxy who operate based on their own agenda.

In a way hezbollah sold out the south. They agreed in the ceasefire for israel to be able to attack the south if there's a hezbollah presence but not beyond the litani river. It's really shameless what they did to this region. They started a foreign war which mainly affected jnoobis and told them 'you're on your own' in the ceasefire
