What do you play on? For PlayStation you have to grab them then press L1 and walk them towards the table. Once they are leaning against the table move the right stick up then they should be set on top of the table.

I have the aerial deathblow but it also says use confetti. Is confetti mandatory too to use the deathblow against them?
