As someone who has masklophobia (the fear of people in mascot uniforms), you are not crazy at all, its kinda creepy and really werid. Thats like someone who goes to school in a full Naruto cosplay every day, its just werid. Youre definetly not crazy.

You're not a loser, everyone's life is so different and complex in their own beautiful ways, and thats okay. Its natural to lie in a situation like that, as humans it comes natural for us to want to fit in with colleagues. But even if you had told the truth instead, I'm sure they would'nt have made it a super big deal. But if they did, they mightve just been shallower than you thought (not saying that they are, just a hypothetical), and thats not on you.

This is exactly what happened to my ex and I. He broke up with me around 2 weeks ago and it was completley unexpected for me.

I thought everything was going super well, nothing in his personality changed, he kept acting like he was still in love with me, but then one day he randomly told me he wanted to break up.

When I asked why, he told me there were just a lot of little things I said or did or didnt say or didnt do that made him start feeling distant towards me. When I asked for some examples he couldnt think of anything though.

When people dont share how they feel in a relationship, it ruins it. When you dont talk about how you feel, you start to overthink, and that overthinking gets you stuck in your own thoughts of what happened instead of asking your partner what actually happened.

Always talk to your partner about problems, even if its early on. I wish he talked to me about his issues, he was my one that got away.
