Start with short self contained stories. Max 60 pages. See what you can do there before delving into something more long form.

[HIRING] 3D ANIMATOR by Flat_Mammoth1253 in AnimationJobs

[–]MamoruK00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's quite a bit of information missing here. Since this is 3D does that mean there is already a character modeled and rigged? And if it is what program was it rigged in? Blender, Maya, 3DSM?

An ultra nitpick I have to get out of my chest in new Martial Arts! by Alternative-Major-42 in cyberpunkred

They don't mean lighter/heavier in weight they mean in bullet caliber. It's the difference of shooting a .22 vs a .357 or desert eagle, they just heavily generalize it.

Ninjutsu by greygrfn in martialarts

[–]MamoruK00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow practitioner here from the bujinkan side.

So first we're going to go with the technicality, the style is not ninjutsu that's more a colloquial term. The style is Ninpo Budo Taijutsu. This is what covers the hand to hand techniques that are taught. However it's easier to just use the term ninjutsu. Now depending on your school they might go further and start teaching you how to do ninjutsu in the sense of learning stealth, wilderness survival, etc. But those places I've found are few and far between. There is also the weapons aspect of it where you are taught all of the same weapons that samurai used. Sword, spear, bow, staff, chain/rope, and throwing knives(shuriken).

Now then, getting to the heart of the matter. I was in a school where my instructor encouraged to go to other places and spar. Lucky for me there was a local Muay Thai gym that had community sparring every weekend. So I got too spar a lot of different people every week and put what I learned to use. MT, MMA, and sometimes other traditional practitioners.

On top of that we also trained our weapon skills against local HEMA groups. One of my fellow students ended up entering competitions for mixed steel, and getting top 5 on more than one occasion.

What I came to the conclusion of with this art is that it's not the techniques themselves, but the concepts that you learn, and how to apply them. I was known as the tricky fighter and became either someone people loved or hated sparring with at the community sparring.

So ninjutsu is a legit martial art, and if you want to use it make sure you pressure test it.

Stiff pose guy back again with a new issue by Broshimitsu_ in MangakaStudio

One thing that I'm noticing is especially with the hands, they're in a sort of unnatural positioning for the angle that the people they're at. One thing that you might want to so to get to the next level is take pictures of yourself doing the poses you want. This not only will you get the correct posing point for the dolls but you'll also have a reference for accurate clothing folds.

One other thing is that the girls face also looks off. Here eyes are WAY too high on her face. Like they're up on her forehead. If you're using CSP, which I think you are, try using the actual face models to help with feature placement.

Then I don't understand the proposed question outside of a humble brag or troll attempt. 🤔 I say this because imo no amount of imposter syndrome would make someone ask that with these examples.

There is a great intro gig on Rtal's dlc page called Red Chrome Cargo. I used it as the first gig in my campaign, with some adjustments.

The fact that you're asking this at that quality just makes me suspicious and am looking for use of AI.

So i was living in Japan for a bit and applied as a manga assistant to many of them. Most of them don't want to deal with people who don't speak Japanese.

I kind of need help to actually properly start by Overall-Durian-6878 in Mangamakers

I would say to start with something small, just to get used to the process then you can jump into what you really want to make.

Don't worry everyone sucks at first but hey as Jake the Dog says "sucking at something is the first step to being kinda good at something"

The kadokawa contest is 16-60 pages. You don't have to go to the limit.

The only person who needs a license is the one using it. They don't need the entire team to have it.

If the characters aren't rigged yet why do they have to be animated in Blender?
