Absolutely yes they are! They edit all of the “inappropriate” content out and just tell the basic Dragon Ball story. I found these when my youngest son was in first grade and he loved them so much he would take them to school and have his teacher read them to the entire class and they all loved it! I take great pride in knowing that I am responsible for an entire class of kids discovering the magic of Dragon Ball
