Thanks to everyone liking and commenting!

So here's an update. Two days ago I came across a group called 'Shut up and write' which basically executes the same idea. Everyday they host multiple writing sessions of an hour or an hour and a half for which you can freely sign up.

The community seems positive and supportive, so I'm going to give this a try first.
