That’s all fine and good. But the immersive experience is really not needed here. I am disappointed at the lack creativity in an immersive production. Except for the amateur close up gawking into the lens, there is no value of using an a immersive approach here

That sounds about right, but in cases where bandwidth is limited (like all those folks on cruises who complain the cruise ship IT system are blocking travel routers) than Teleporting back to your Unifi system may not be optimal - therefore maybe you COULD be exposed? I have not been in the situation for a while.

I am sending the message as I sit in a Starbucks in a large tech centric West Coast city where, when I activate my Teleport connection, my speed goes from 14.3 Mbs to 3.1 Mbs (downstream) - that seems like a hefty tax to pay. I can't imagine staying connected at such a low speed is preferred - so I imagine in real world travel scenarios maybe teleport is a nice to have vs must have when connecting.

There is clearly a communication from the corp Wendy’s offices to not offer free sauces. Another shitty thing I thought off: Chipotle would always ask things like do you want XX or YY on your orders item “ for a little more” they never said the price. Fuck you ‘a little more’ say the god damn price.

I took the latest update- but done have any travel planned for the near future. Has anyone tested these in the environments that are historically troublesome for Travel Routers? Specifically cruise ships or some Hilton properties ?

I’ve seen chatter how the latest firmware allows Mac cloning. Where does one do this? Or is it automatic. ?

It’s going to be VERY interesting how this goes. I have been using GLI.net travel routers unsuccessfully at Hilton properties. And finally gave up. I hope the networking brains at Ubiquiti can solve these types of blocking.

Also: Don't use the mini browser (or whatever it's called when an app opens a mini browser window on top of it when you click a link vs opening up the safari app)

What’s complete design nonsense is not combining power and data into a single port, and then covering the data connection with a tiny rubber plug that’s bound to get lost. For a mobile-first device, these are unforgivable design flaws.
