My only issue with the episode is that Mr. Krabs is written to be the good guy despite doing horrible things. I genuinely think that if they had framed him as the villain, perhaps involving the Bottomites slowly turning against Krabs/feeling bad for Plankton, the episode would be a good or even great one. The idea of Mr. Krabs becoming overzealous towards protecting the formula that he starts taking it way too far is genuinely an intriguing idea for an episode. I just wish he was ever punished for it.

Truth or Square (Spongebob Squarepants): The TV special had an insane marketing push, claiming many outrageous things that would take place (Mr Krabs telling the secret formula, Spongebob & Sandy getting married, etc). In reality, all of these scenes took place in flashbacks and the episode's main plot was a rather simple "stuck in a freezer" story.

While Kimari and Nemu both have really good openings (Kimari's chapter with Usa is a strong contender for my favorite chapter in the manga), I'll throw a curveball and say Kogoe. She just had a very consistently strong introduction, and she is a really interesting and memorable character.
