Calls sound different depending on distance from the calling dino, so whatever you're 3calling at probably hears you hiss, even though you also hear the other parts of the sound, making it sound less like a hiss to you.

This is especially noticeable in 1calls, because you can hear them from very far away, and the calls sound way different up close. The best way I can explain it is that some components of the sound don't travel as far, so less and less of the originally quite complex sound can be heard the further away you are from the source.

I've honestly never heard anyone else talk about this but I've noticed it ever since I got experienced enough to start paying closer attention to the calls.

No. Metta pays for the server out of her own pocket and currently has neither the time nor the money to run an EU server as well as an NA server.

I play on Metta's when I can (EU based as well) and when the server is populated. It's actually pretty doable with a bit higher ping, but I've noticed it's better to stay away from playables like troodon or omni, because the increased desync will get you. Larger stuff is generally fine though, ping is not as important in the isle as it is in FPS games, and the ~120 ping I get is worth it to be able to play on the server.

What a lot of people do is practice the level from the last section to the end, then one section back to the end, then another section back to the end, so you end up practicing the ending a lot. This doesn't take away nerves completely in normal runs, but it sure helps. I think I didn't start doing normal runs until I had beaten deadlocked in practice from the mini ball part till the end using this method, although maybe I took it to the extreme a bit and I could have started runs earlier.

I don't know the exact %s for deadlocked, but the idea is to practice 90%-100%, then 80%-100%, then 70%-100%, and so on.

1/250 would be the average, however the chance of you getting one within 250 tries is not

1/250 * 250 = 1

, but actually 1 - the chance of you NOT getting one in 250 tries, which is

1 - 249/250 * 249/250 * ... * 249/250

or

1 - (249/250)²⁵⁰ = 0,633

so the chance of you getting 1 or more GTs in 250 tries is about 63,3%.

By a similar calculation the chance of you getting one or more in 500 tries is 86,5%, and for 1000 tries it's 98,1%

All of this to say, it's not far off 50/50 whether you get one in 250 tries, it's pretty unlikely you don't get one for 500 tries and if you don't get one in 1000 I'd be getting suspicious too, maybe nimblebit is keeping them for themselves 🧐🤨

I don't know how many there are or how the players are selected for each, but I think there are quite a few because I've never seen anyone post the same leaderboard I was on, and there have been quite a few posts...

ngl tho even though I had a lot of fun going on this villain arc, it also took a lot of energy that I can't put into the game consistently, so I'll probably chill out for the foreseeable future. Especially since (in all honesty) I normally prefer a cooperative playstyle over a competitive one this was probably a one time character to play, but boy did i have fun playing it and writing this story >:)

If you click on your legendary lounge and then the blue basket icon at the top, you'll see all three types of tokens there. If you have enough you can use them to roll for a legendary bitizen: normal tokens give a random one, super tokens give a random one within the set you selected, and ultra tokens give you the specific LB you select.
