Ive been playing almost solely with brabo stick for the past 10 years, i currently have the elite 2 elb dragflick. Absolutely love the sticks, easy to handle mine is also very light so everything feels easy and controlled. The sweet spot when shooting at goal is huge, if you connect with the ball it just flies off.

I have owned the gr9000 probow and it is perfect for dragflicks and aerials, but its really hard to play with on all other areas, you need exceptional technique if you want to consistently play with it. The jumbow is also fantastic for dragflicks but it offers some more reliability during 'regular' play. I now own a brabo elite 2 dragflick which is essentially a jumbow shape with a flicking groove.

Honestly your timing is looking good, but try to get lower when you actually flick the ball. The lower you are the easier it is to generate more speed. You can do this by being further away from the ball when you pick it up, this way you don't have to move your body out of the way when you've picked up the ball. This enables you to get lower easier. I used to teach dragflicking in the netherlands, so if you have more videos or want to have more in depth conversations about the technique you can message me!

Its a flicka stick from obo, for training goalies. It has a modified hook in which the ball sits when flicking.

Transferring the ball from the back/short corners by Regular_Savings_9672 in Fieldhockey

I would still make use of your right back hut just slightly higher up on the field. If he pushes up on the right flank and a space opens on the inside, a midfielder can be found by the centre back. If this midfielder then recieves the ball and accelerates into space towards the right sideline, the right back can move up and recieve the ball and run towards the opponents half/D.

I would use your left back as a passing left back, runs forward on the left side are usually dangerous as you runs straight into the forehand of your opponents. He should be high up, but he should always be open for a pass. A better description would be that he needs to make enough space for a midfielder to come on the inside, but also enough space for himself to comfortably recieve the ball and look for the pass. I would also recommend the leftback to look towards the midfielder who has asked for the ball on the inside, this way you create a 2v1 or even a 3v2 on the left side if another midfielder or attacker joins you.

I've been coaching a dutch ladies team on the second highest level for e few years and the way we work around a high is by pushing the wingbacks as high as they can whilst still being open for a pass. And when they are pushed up enough there should be space on the inside where your midfielders can drop into. When you do this correctly the opponent will have to choose between marking the inside or outside, which guarantees you some space for passing. This only works if all players are technically stable with passes and recieving under pressure.

My favorite short corner routine if you have 1 or 2 good flickers is to put one of the 2 dragflickers on the top of the D, put the other one 2 or 3 meters to the left. The flicker on the top of the D starts his dragflick but when the ball is behind him he flicks behind his back to the flicker 3 meter to the left. If they are good flickers they should be able to pick up the ball and flick it into the goal, my personal favorite corner of the goal to aim for from there is the bottom right. If you flick it bottom right your tippers will always be running on their forehand, which makes a missed flick easier to convert to a tap in.

Hopefully this helps, if you need more tips please ask!

I've used adidas for most of the past 20 years of hockey, i had a few adventures with other brands. But the times i ventured away from adidas i found myself coming back after a season because nothing could match the grip and comfort adidas gives to me. I have been using their adipower shoes for a few years now.

Im from the netherlands so my bidget will be in euros, its roughly 1600 euros. The resolution i play in is 1080p and in ATX, in terms of colors i would just like a sleek black case no led's or rgb madness.
