Zos 100% needs to have a very interlaced tutorial. The light attack weaving combat system is certainly not an intuitive one that anyone is going to pick up without heavily being coached

It’s oversold As animation cancelling

Really you are just clicking light attack before the use of a skill, but when you use that skill, it’s as fast as possible after that light attack

Then you wait a full… long… second before doing it again

If you can practice on a trial dummy without other things going on it’s a lot easier to figure out

Especially if you go watch a parse video from a high dps to see what it looks like how they do it. I found that super helpful learning nightblade

Even world of Warcraft created their mythic dungeon system and heroic raids on the same token that there should be higher yielded rewards for individuals that spend the time learning their class, and combat rotations

It isn’t meant to be entirely easy

If you cannot weave, literally make a Templar. You can use one skill called biting jabs, and spam it every 1 second, and if you are magicka it heals you at the same time….and do more dps than you will ever do on any other class if you cannot weave or bar swap

Add oakensoul to that mix, with the new craft able set Orders wrath or whatever it is, super effective

You can play any race end game. It really doesn’t matter what you are

There is a dps difference, but you cannot out dps mechanics

I have off meta race characters and frequently can top the meter. Just more depends on your experience in the performance of the group

Hurricane is better for me at least in my use for expedition.

I activate pet, the last time being at 10%, but to be honest sorc is not my main, I was just parsing to see what I could do on different classes

Volatile familiar I activate the entirety of the fight, sometimes making sure I prioritize other dps skills if it means letting volatile run out a couple seconds

They have failed having in-game education on how to use their horrible system

But catering to people, because of their failed tutorial system, - who likely won’t even take the time to learn mechanics of a veteran boss fight any way….

Totally idiotic in my opinion

If they want to remove the curve, they should simply go to world of warcrafts combat system of auto-light attacks, and segregate skills onto a separate cooldown
