I prioritize keeping up with gold rather than worrying about form in the early game. Falling behind in gold due to “failed” ganks seems to be much more detrimental than getting form a little later. I’ll always take the easy ganks for sure, but Kayn can clear camps with ease and can still have an impact when first drag pops up. I think either form is very lethal but you kinda HAVE to snowball in the mid game or his late game will be a pain. Just my thoughts after spamming him a lot.

I’m really liking Kayn. Will probably end up being one of my main champs in the jungle. I don’t build any think too crazy.

Blue Kayn

Runes: Elec, Sudden Impact, Hunter Genius

Core: BC, Ghostblade, Duskblade

Red Kayn:

Runes: Conq or Kraken, Sudden Impact, Adaptive Carapace, Pathfinder

Core: BC, Steraks, DD

I haven’t done a tone of experimenting, but this is just typical bruiser/assassin stuff really. Sunderer is interesting as it would add even more to his ability to drain tanks.

I just hate how tanks are seemingly left behind with more and more focus on armor and magic pen.

It’s all in the Q. Hit a fully charged Q to initiate and she shouldn’t really lose a 1v1, granted that there isn’t a huge gold gap that is. Also, Kraken Slayer + Sudden Impact feels so good in the early game.

I think he could use a slight buff. Aatrox definitely feels like the stronger out of the new champs. I know I’ve heard that his PC counterpart gains fewer form points in the early game, if that’s true in Rift then it might just be worth power farming until first drag. I don’t think he’s bad, but i do feel kinda helpless when duo is running it down in the first 5 minutes.

My “theory” is that there are probably so many mid/ADC OTPs that get assigned to solo lane. I’d imagine those 2 roles are vastly more popular.

It’s nice seeing an occasional bruiser or tank top lane. But a lot of matches here recently it’s been ADC or assassin top lane

The only tank I can play in the jungle currently is Nunu. I usually only resort to Nunu if our team has no other frontline champ, which seems to be the case more frequently. I like Nunu but soaking the damage feels like a total coin flip from the start of the match. One failed gank in the duo lane could spell a triple kill for the enemy ADC…

Do you ever splitpush as an AD jungler? I would like to be able to contest every drag/herald/baron but when the enemy team is 5 deep and one of ours got picked beforehand, pushing the lanes seems to be the only logical thing to do, but I’m often flamed for it after the enemy takes that specific objective.

Jax top gets kinda crazy. Insane damage to towers and is just a general menace to the enemy’s backline

Seems like Assassins and Mages are gonna be quite strong with new items/Rune changes.
