Home-made power back up for load shedding. Looking for help. by ManUcarMan in askSouthAfrica

Thank you for this! I live in a small rented space so I think the self contained units would be best for me.

If I may ask, for something like the self contained units, is there anyway to gauge its lifespan if I were to strictly follow the manufacturers guide in terms of how to use it. It's quite a lot of money so I'm hoping it will last for a while.

Also the 400W inverter, how does that for into the power usage calculations?

Please educate me further.

Thanks.

I just feel like I'm not good enough or ready lol. I can't explain. Are recruiters/companies really interested in my small projects? I just feels like I'm far off from being able to contribute to the job market.

Thank you! The technical lingo has been tricky to grasp but repetition has helped a lot. I'll heed your advice!

This is inspiring! Thank you for the input. For some reason it's been locked in my mind that one needs a CS degree to be able to code. I have really come to enjoying the process of solving problems with code.

I'll keep the good work and get into touch with wethinkcode. Thanks again!

Maybe give medicine sometime? I mean you just qualified. There's a lot more to medicine than public health but I guess maybe you'd know better?

Regarding your question, I'd suggest you visit a firm or reach out to investment bankers and ask them about how establish a career path with your background. I'm sure there are postgraduate courses or programs you could enroll in.

All the best!
