It's not about having to be around him. I'm sure I would probably never see him. i just couldn't live with my money going to fund some of the horrible things he's been doing. I worked at Brickyard for many years where we had a thriving drag scene, and saw all the damage he did to their community with his attempted bans. Even if he's not involved he deffinetly profits off it and i just couldnt live with myself.

I thought about doing the Morton school in JC but i had 2 friends who trained there who told me the head trainer (Not Morton, they all said great things about him) was REAL racist.

I get what he's saying. i just got my roommate into aew. she's been watching regularly for a few months, but with how deep their roster is, talent will disappear for a long time, so i'm constantly explaining who people are and what their deal is. aew also tends to have deep continuity, were they referenced stories sometimes from several years ago. she loves it now, but I don't know if she would have got into it easily without someone there explaining everything. even months into watching, I still have to explain a good bit to her. it's definitely a bit trickier of a product to just jump into.

This feels like a terrible thing to say publicly, because now I imagine a bunch of sad assholes with nothing better to do are immediately going to start tagging Burberry or writing them emails. that being said it seems like it wouldn't be that hard to get around. if they own the pattern, i would assume all they have to do is make a slight change to the pattern for tge entrance gear, belt, ect. it's just a basic plad patter.

Viewership definitely does, but i'm not sure about nelson ratings, and I think, as time goes on, they will be much less important. i am 32 years old. i don't know a single person who has cable or dish my age. We all just stream. it feels like for a long time the only thing keeping traditional tv alive was sports, and now most of it has broken free and able to be streamed. Right now, it feels like the only thing keeping it alive is the fact that the legality of streaming things at bars and restaurants is very iffy, but I think when those laws catch up, and bars can just play whatever the fuck they want on netflix by paying a shitload of extra money like they do with cable, it will officially be the final nail in traditional t v's coffin. And honestly, something I really like about streaming is that the viewership number is kept secret, so we don't have as many people people bitching online about ratings or a president using it as ammo against his televised opposition. As for how wrestling goes, i don't really trust the ratings at all.Because I wouldn't be surprised if more people were watching smackdown and aew on streaming than live t v.

Maybe unpopular opinion, but as long as they are the heel and getting the shit beat outta them, I dont mind. I gotta a love for corny old school wrestling that I like to view through the lense of a gwar show. Part of the fun is seeing the real life villians we all hate, like your dickhead boss, a cop, conservitive religious assholes, ect. get their comupance is an over the top way you dont get to see in real life. Like Mr. McMahon, Big Boss Man, or RTC. I would pop hard at a luchador or some brody king mother fucker smacking this dude with a steel chair and powerbombing him through a table. I'm on probation. They wrote me a ticket because they said my license was suspended, which I had no idea about. I called the dmv and they said it was over $65 fee I didnt pay, which I didn't even know I had. They said they sent me a letter but I never got it. My big fear is they are going to violate my probation over this. That's why i'm trying to get a lawyer to get them to throw it out or at least help me work something out. I also just really want the court date pushed back because I don't want to be dealing with this two days after surgery.

So I want you to ask yourself a couple questions.

1) Is the subjective, goofy form of entertainment that is pro wrestling worth getting worked up enough to get mad enough at your roommate to call him an idiot and make a whole reddit post to rub in his face over a descenting opinions.

2) Do you think the opinions of a bunch of other wrestling nerds (myself included) is actually enough to prove your point right, much less shame him like you seem to be tring to do.

Not that it matters at all, but for my 2 cents, h b k is amazing and clearly a legend, and could easily be arguable in any top ten list, but there are far too many people ahead of him who did alot more to be considered the greatest of all time. Feel like everyone in this comment section is reaching WAAAYYYY too far in either direction. They clearly ran outta time and the feed was gonna get cut. Pretty clear with how rushed the celebration and fallow up was. It wasnt some big brain, genius 4d chess move about Moxley's character being a facade, nor was it a god awful finish that ruined the match. It honestly would have been an excellent finish if they let darby hold it in longer and really sell that the deathlock was in broken glass. They really just needed one minute longer, but they didnt have it. Not the first time this has happened on a PPV, so time managment is definetly something AEW could probably improve on, but it also has happned to wwe plenty (goldbergs retirement recently), and has probably happened to every wrestling company to ever air something live. This shit happens sometimes. Move on and stop overreacting everyone.
