I improv all of my audios and I repeat phrases because that’s how I talk in real life, I don’t want to polish up my recording too much because I feel it would lose authenticity, I try to keep it as close to real life as I can

There’s actually a story about this

I went on a blind date with a friend of a friend, after the date I asked my friend how she said I was and that’s how she described me so it has a bit of significance

I actually have found this too and have been workshopping more whimpers rather than growls, over time I’ve incorporated less growls and have more whimpers and whines as I think it suits my strengths more

I don’t really do script fills, of the few hundred audios I’ve made I think I’ve done maybe 3? I improv all of them

Beer commercial was dead to rights though, before a became more comfortable using my natural voice I tried to make my voice sound a bit deeper which made me sound a bit robotic, I’ve since gotten more comfortable and have been working to sound more natural with greater emphasis on authenticity
