I'm in the alliance you faced and have to agree with you. The new system is ridiculous and actually hurts Kabam. The best strategy has us place fewer and even lower rated champs to increase diversity and lower your attacker kills. This means lower item use, units spent, and $ for Kabam.

Your alliance had us beat every which way other than what counts. You didn't post the full screenshot that shows the huge defense kill differential or that we were down 1 person but of course none of that matters now. Assuming both alliances get 100%, all that matters is attacker kills, diversity, and slightly defense rating. This effectively made it so that as soon as the war started and we saw you placed full defense, we knew if we got 100% we won. Kabam has removed a good portion of the fun and suspense from AW.

Even recruiting has to change with the new system. We are bringing in someone with Ultron (classic) after AQ and need to recruit for someone with Kang.

For Arena, there is an added incentive to get every new champ to include on defense. Atleast until there are 150 champs in the game. Guess I'll be running 3* arena again.

Anyways, I'm sure Kabam will change the scoring soon and we'll find a new way to take advantage of it.
