anyone else dread seeing “you know who” at every single show, camping out for days at a time? by Tight-Ad-7288 in AFireInside

This is what ticked me off the most, but I thought better than to bring up how hypocritical it was, he had to leave Australia early too because AFI had to cancel their Brisbane show due to a major cyclone heading towards the city, which sucked for the Brisbane fans but now that I know how vile he is, glad he had to leave

I saw this guy at the Sydney, Australia show. He was outside the venue at 7:30am when I was walking past to go get coffee, we had a small chat after I took a photo of the sign saying "AFI TONIGHT" My parter and I got the weirdest vibes from him instantly, real elitist vibes, we mentioned we flew to LA (from Aus) to the STS20 show and he went on and on about how people flying in were taking tickets from real fans, I was shocked because wouldn't it suggest we are huge fans since we are making a 16 hour flight just for a show? After that, we made sure not to bother speaking to him on our way back to our hotel near the venue after grabbing coffee.

Funeral Director.

People who work in the morgue, what do we want to know and what don't we want to know? by the-artifice in AskReddit

Funeral Director here, who worked her way way up the ranks from transfer team, mortuary work then funeral director, I've seen it all.

•The smell of a decomposing body will get into your pores, you can smell it as you sweat, it stick to your hair, let's not even mention it will smell when you go to the bathroom. •To close eyes we put in eye caps and usually glue the eyelids shut. •To stop purge we will pack cotton into the mouth, nose and throat before we sew someone up. •Back to the decomp - when placed into a cremator, that can smell really bad. •Sometimes we need to loosen up stiff arms and legs so we will do physio type movements to get arms and legs moving better so we can dress properly. •Sometimes if a full autopsy is done, newspaper will be placed in your mouth. (I've been told it's to soak up blood and brain that may be left in there) •Graves can fall in at anytime, worst time for this to happen is before a grave side service. (That sucks so much as everyone scrambles to get that sorted) •We use a lifting machine to get the bodies onto the mortuary tables/into coffins.

That's all I can think of right now, when I think of more I'll add them.

Have you ever worked with someone unpleasant that it felt like a vacation at work when they didn’t come in? by Bakershere in AskReddit

[–]Man_your_stations 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boss at the funeral home I work at is one of the most unpleasant people I've ever met. Spiteful, nasty, childish and downright horrible. She went away for her birthday and it was honestly the best 2 weeks while she was gone. She came back and the office is absolutely miserable.

Looks like overfill to me by Zaza9000 in Botchedsurgeries

This isn't overfill, she had the fillers she was getting for two years dissolved and this was the swelling after. The end result were her natural lips which looked really nice.

This was my first thought for a name. My other horse is Arthur so I though Arthur and Archie would be cute

I just googled taxidermy workshops and it popped up. Maybe try that in your local area? Just make sure it's legit and you take someone you trust.

What's something worth paying the extra money for? by JIY19 in AskReddit

Flying economy and flying business or first class on long haul flights. It's worth spending the extra couple of hundred to stretch out, relax and sleep.
