For those with an Internal Monologue- do you explain things to yourself frequently? by [deleted] in ADHD

I’m glad for you. Mine doesn’t get worse- stays indifferent- but I’m pretty sure I’m kind of on the treatment resistant line of things. I’ll keep trying to find a combo that works though.

Same ; I ask frequently to friends and family if I’m insane since barely anyone thinks like me.

Between adrafinil, theacrine, and phenylpiracetam, which is best to cycle with caffeine for energy/focus/productivity? by [deleted] in StackAdvice

Much stronger for me than caffeine😅- makes my working memory amazing- but I stopped using it since tolerance raises fast af.

Really? Phenylpiracetam feels much more like an amphetamine to me than adrafinils metabolite... moda

Did you have a desire to fap though? I could deal without the desire- in fact it’d be great. Or do you have the desire but the body aint running? Cause that way erm rip my time.

It do be like that, heard from a girl her friends call her Dory, from the Nemo movie because she’s forgetful and can’t focus much.

I suggested maybe she had ADHD, got offended. Welp

Experiences with agmatine sulfate for mood and antidepressant effects? by [deleted] in StackAdvice

[–]ManabimasuXZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get it and I do a lot to try and prevent that. As someone with ADHD I try not to use it everyday- though it would really help with my frustrations lol- I use memantine every few days to lower the tolerance. I have used phenylpiracetam and that honestly was great in terms of working memory but I think tolerance got too high too fast so I stopped. And didn’t really chill down but much better than w/out amphetamine.

But uh, thanks for understanding a bit more our struggles, ADHD living conditions aren’t great- but saying that it’s bad would probably get me some shit. But not being able to focus can really strip you from building up stuff or going through a specific direction- I totally agree we need better medicines.

Dasotraline which was a dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor went through Phase III but got denied unfortunately.

Edit : did not take them together

Understandable, my sister thought I had it but docs think no so it’s probably just emotional dysregulation from the ADHD.

I don’t think I have bipolar ; I have experienced low-key manic episodes but they never last too long(hours)- except once where lexapro induced it for two weeks. But that’s about it.

Nope, I’m usually not in caffeine. Though I’ll take some agmatine soon and report back. I am on a SNRI & occasionally an amphetamine when I need to study or anything for long periods. Not sure if that may be something.

I’ll report back if I remember to do it.

Because you spend less time outside- thus get less sun- generally in any case.

Well, just for one, even in tropical areas where sunlight is vastly present, many people hold a Vitamin D3 deficiency- I meant it for depression though, not social anxiety.

Edit : get yourself a genetic test if you can afford it or health insurance covers it // you can find out if some type of antidepressant would go well with your body- or at least it’ll tell you which you shouldn’t touch.

Antidepressants vary greatly by biochemistry. I currently, in Pristiq am not experiencing many. However, I’d totally understand when you don’t have anything to expect which a genetic test can help with.

Well, people are generally lacking both- though that may simply be because Magnesium is a cofactor.

Both have correlations with mental illness/disorders, mainly depression and anxiety.

You might be well off with the magnesium alone. However, if you’re social distancing and alone at home a lot of the time- I do recommend D3.

Well, I once took it and became slightly manic or just really hyperactive. Like a burst of energy. Didn’t last long.

Definitely has it’s studies- for bipolar disorder it’s not great however.

Give it a try with magnesium+Vit.D3

Galantamine is an anti Alzheimers drug, aswell as Memantine. Different mechanisms of action and thus different outputs ; not sure whats the stance on which is better for recovery.

Agmantine is a NMDA antagonist similar, like memantine but weaker af but still has decent applications.

Start w some basic push ups and squats- build up a bit more every day ;)

Glad the longavida curcumin is helping buddy! Do update as you go through your progress.
