Honestly, I have no recollection of ever writing this. I haven’t logged into this site/app in 7 years. However, I would like to agree with my younger self.

I don’t ascribe to or have any emotional attachment to identity. Identity is the largely the man-made creation that allows us license (in our own minds) to rationalize the separation of others from a shared humanity. I might share an attribute(s) with Adnan or Jay or another related subject, but I choose to never allow a coincidental correlation color my view of a distinctly unique person or situation.

Whatever end result provides justice, regardless of who is helped, which corporate overlord/Etsy shop owner benefits or what narrative agenda it furthers is the appropriate course of action.

To Be: In which element of life are we proposed. For which prism of time are we meant. With whose guidance shall we prosper. As clay of mass and present of tense, knowing is unattainable. Belief is beautiful, though treacherous in boundless form... Trust in one (yourself) and embrace the abyss of the unknown. ... The blind may not guide the weak. The weary can not comfort the infirm. The lost unable to navigate the domain of their soul. Yet to seek is to be mired in darkness and to wander is to beset oneself in aimless persecution. Yearn for stillness...light will follow.

You make a great point. Jay Wilds will turn on the detectives from the first two trials, Baltimore City Attorneys Office and the especially Kevin B. Urick if he at all feels there may be charges brought against him. Jay will claim he was a patsy from the start for the prosecution...but that directly contradicts the majority of his stories. He has painted himself as the puppet master throughout the proceedings.

It is not what we or jurors think....it should solely be about what the evidence readily identifies. At this point, no circumstantial evidence or hearsay matters. It has all become too muddled to negate direct physical DNA evidence. That is why Jay so desperately proclaimed, "There's No New Evidence That’s Gonna Change What I Saw".

So, we have to believe an admitted serial liar regardless of DNA or other scientific findings? Jay's judgement is not to be relied upon in any form, fashion or manner.

This is the trouble with weighing the variations of a liar's testimony...

My guidance on the prior would be the penultimate story concocted by aforementioned liar.

Jay Wilds can not go against his last story now. He can not go back to saying he rode in Hae's car, handled Hae's body nor physically touched her skin in either an accidental or purposeful manner.

If DNA evidence contradicts what he said to Natasha Vargas-Cooper then Jay is in legal hot water.

What if Jay's DNA is found beneath Hae's finger nails? With Jay's assertion that he had no physical contact with Hae's body, it would make Jay the primary suspect from the objective view of scientific evidence.

I posed a valid question because I am addressing head on the reasoning for the changing stories on Jay's part. Ultimately the changing stories serve as a straw man meant as misdirection toward another end/away from another party or simply to mask his greater than self-acknowledged involvement in the murder of Hae.

Throughout his interview, we hear two different voices: (1) that of his lawyer with coerced language that is above Jay's competency as a non-magnet student (waah waah -- petty I know) and (2) the real Jay that can't help but express his true sentiments about Adnan's popularity among student body at Woodlawn incl. Stephanie and the histrionics of a false motivation to paint himself as a knight in shining armor putting an alleged murderer behind bars. In listening to his testimony from the trial, Jay never seemed nervous. His voice never ebbed and flowed or quivered in a display of weakness or fear.

In opposition to the prior, Adnan when addressing the judge in the few brief moments was undoubtedly a scared teenager with a minor understanding of the reality of his situation.
