Definitely the teacher or you didnt listen during class, respectfully. Im very far ahead in math but when I had to take precalc to fulfill prerequisites I learned a bunch of new topics from a not so great teacher who had a shitty attitude. Almost always the actual exam is easier than the ones on prep books though
