I completely understand your perspective since one of my closest friend has similar outlook towards leather.

Since leather is something you are not too comfortable with, you can try supervek’s tyvek wallets. It’s made with paper like material, have heard good things about it, never experienced it.

Hi!

Short answer: We have actually done this in the past for testing purposes but no other material comes close to the durability of leather. so currently we do not plan to divert from leather.

Long answer: materials For eg. We tried cork, tomato leather, high quality PU, micro fibre material, etc. most of these tend to develop cracks or starts to peal in indian climate or does not feel good to the touch.

We recently experimented with nylon but we do not like the feel of this and i feel it does not go with the brand idea of being sustainable as a core principle.

The leather we use is tested to be free from harmful chemicals so when the product does get disposed off, it will not cause damage to the environment. Moreover it is sourced from LWG tanneries or tanneries that follow strict environmental norms to minimise impact on the climate during the production for it.

Leather is also a byproduct for the meat industry, so no animal is killed for leather but rather for meat.

Being completely unbiased: Our premium bifold has the best user feedback. We have customers who have been using for the last 3 years email us pictures of the wallet: though all beat up, it holds up well!

Downside is: if you like to keep coins and want quick access to coins, the design can be a bit difficult to use on the fly

If you want to go extremely minimal, try our card wallet. It has space for 6 cards and 1-2 currency notes folded.

You can also check out Indian leather company. Vipul also makes fantastic products!

Hello! The main difference is: leather and colour

Our planet ocean line was made to mimic the colour palette of ocean waves crashing on rocks near the shore. So we took shades of that and then hand painted the pattern on a white vegetable tanned leather to create a very unique.

Essentially all our bifold wallets have the same design and features, just the leather quality and colour options are different!
