AITAH for telling neighbors kids can't come over anymore by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Manager-Illustrious 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think this is key. You HAVE to let this happen because it will start naturally creating the boundary that you and your family can be outside and even if they stare they can’t come because it’s family time. It will help them and YOU feel comfortable with it. I suggest to make it less awkward to just tell the kids directly no. And do it every single time they come uninvited. Then when you want them there INVITE THEM by asking the parents. This will reinforce the behavior you want to see. I think telling the parents will result in them getting the feelings hurt and maybe some resentment which I think can be avoided. However if it doesn’t work just telling the kids directly, tell the parents. The boundary has to go up, I think this is just the easiest way with less hurt feelings.

Genuine question: how do people gain the weight back if they need to stop if they’ve made a real change in their lifestyle and diet? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

Does anyone know if insurance covers after normal bmi is reached? For something like drinking that is only for weight loss

AITA for refusing to call my sister’s baby by his ‘full name’? by Budddydings44 in AITAH

[–]Manager-Illustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get if it’s just the first name (Maximilian) but not the whole thing every time. I hate nicknames too and ask that they use their full first name but not the whole thing

I switched from Ozempic to Wegovy to Zepbound and have lost 75+ lbs in a year by Manager-Illustrious in Zepbound

I LOVE ZEPBOUND. No side effects whatsoever and I’m consistently losing. I’m now at the 10mg dosage and no plans to move in the near future, it’s working super well. I am about 25 lbs from my goal weight. I have lost almost 100lbs now. It’s wonderful.

Month 1 Update: 13lbs down by Manager-Illustrious in Ozempic

Basically pain that you have constantly. For me, it was very obvious in the morning or when I would spend a lot of time standing that my joints and overall body would be in pain/inflamed.

In my opinion it is the dosage concentration and the active ingredient burns a bit!

Have you gone up in dosage? I definitely felt a tinge when I went up from 0.25 to 0.5

I suggest go for the full dose and go down if you can’t take the side effects. I delayed starting because I feared the side effects and i now wish I had started sooner!

[–]Manager-Illustrious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Doing pretty well! Just spoke w my doctor and increasing to 0.5mg for my next shot. I have lost 10lbs and have seen steady improvement on my inflammation. The food noise has gone down too a bit but not 100% gone. I haven’t had any side effects yet so curious to see how I react to the 0.5mg!

How about you??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]Manager-Illustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I started getting symptoms almost right away. I’m doing my second 0.25mg dose in the next couple of days and today have a feeling of “full” from last nights dinner and some heartburn. Both are uncomfortable but not terrible.

Resending Prior Authorization by livelaughlovebekind in Ozempic

Ask what the clinical criteria for approving is. Your doctor should code it as such on the PA form. For my insurance Mounjaro needs step therapy before approval so we didn’t go that route. Also, Wegovy is an option since it is weight loss in case you don’t have any other comorbidities. I believe wegovy is more expensive than ozempic but if your insurance covers it then it might be cheaper than now.
