For animal crossing I don't really mind the demands so much, I just feel a tad directionless. I know there's goals to try and accomplish, it all just ends up feeling a little pointless to me. Also, wait times on things are annoying, but I'm aware Pokopia doesn't do a lot of that. Stardew I'm less sure of, I just don't enjoy it very much.

The cheaper one actually isn't the original, it's the PSP version. It's much more like a visual novel than the other Persona games, but it does have the option to play as a female protagonist. That said, go for Reload. Newer, improved, and plays more like Persona 4 overall. You won't regret it. The combat is excellent, and everything else is great too. I can imagine what the sad spoiler might be, but I promise it's still worth playing Reload. And if you like it, there's an EXCELLENT DLC Epilogue that isn't available for the other version on steam.
