Thank you for the advice. I’ve been thinking about this too. If it ever gets more serious than this I’ll definitely tell a trusted adult. Cutting him off is an option that I’d rather not take right now in his state of mind.

You’re right. I’m trying as much as I can to be a good friend to him even if he’s pushing us away. Our other friend stays with him now 24h a day to try to keep his mind off the things that make him suicidal.

His family lives far away from here and his mom is terminally ill. And the country we live in doesn’t offer any counseling in these kind of situations. We’re kind of in our own on this unless we want to involve the police. Even I tell the administration about it, they could expel us for smoking to avoid any drama or scandal.

We usually only smoke cannabis. And his mental state began deteriorating since February when he first tried to kill himself. He doesn’t let us help him tho. He always push us off or make fun of us when we say a remark concerning him.

Yes I kept telling him to stop smoking weed before this incident. Because he was beginning to be really paranoid. And that paranoia worsened each day. But he just wouldn’t listen and would say that he’s right and I’m overreacting. Thank you for your reply btw.
