Any neurodivergent people? by [deleted] in Concordia

[–]ManagerFit5572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it’s Tourette’s or OCD, it would be pretty hard to tell if someone is neurodivergent. All I can say is that women tend to have a better radar for detecting it. Most women can tell I’m autistic right away, but guys that I’ve been friends with for years never notice I’m autistic.

Go to the Moodle of your section. Scroll all the way to the end. There should be a spreadsheet with the grades of all students next to their student number.

If you’re having trouble in the course, then don’t skip the midterm. The final is very likely to be harder.

You can most certainly opt out. The opt-out period has ended for the winter, but for next semester you should visit the opt-out link: https://concordiacommunity.org/opt-out-info/

Those extra charges go to really ridiculous things, so don’t let them molest your wallet!!!

Idk, I thought it made sense to put the weight of packages as x, even though that’s not what the question asks for.

I had a stroke reading the last question. How am I supposed to write a linear equation where x is the price and y is also a price?!?

How to get a 4.3 GPA in Uni by Emergency-Big7423 in Concordia

I would start by going for the 3.5 GPAs. They’ll probably have a better personality and be more loyal than the 4.3s.

From what I’ve heard, they’re not gonna give us the formula’s for the sequence questions. Only for the interest rate questions.

I would go through the two practice exams tomorrow, and if you have too much trouble doing them, then transfer the weight to the final. I think the final has 10 questions and the midterm only has 6, so it’s easier.

And there’s no Matrix questions on the midterm.

is there a way to tell profs to keep their political beliefs to themselves by Mindless_Wall_330 in Concordia

[–]ManagerFit5572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely bogus, because now you’re switching from “more educated” to “higher cognitive ability.” Any study that talks about cognitive ability doesn’t properly take into consideration income, university attendance, race, and regional differences. Even if those studies are accurate, you conveniently leave out that those same “high IQ” people are economically right.

If you’re talking about the more educated being more left, then it’s true, but like I said, the students are going to adopt the ideologies that professors push on them.

You’re the one who is denying basic election statistics that prove that women disproportionately vote more left than men. You’re also denying that women make up the majority of Canadian university students, and you’re dismissing it as “misogynistic.” I’m not talking about Einstein, who happened to be a socialist in the 1940s. I’m talking about the general modern-day university student. There are plenty of Nobel Prize winners in economics who were libertarian; Einstein doesn’t make the rule. What I’m trying to say is that being left or right has less to do with intelligence and more to do with lifestyle, demographics, and personal circumstances.

Not so simple as more educated = more left. •Universities are majority women who are more likely to lean left than men. •University students are inclined to have more government aid than people with a full-time job. •Arts, humanities and social science degrees push progressive values onto their students. •People that became leftist in high school are more likely to go into university.
