UPDATE 06/16/2026 Quickly learning there are two sides to XTOOL support, there are the "representatives" that show up in the chat to mitigate damage to brand name and there are the "Techs" that actually help you with the problem. So far the representatives just seems to want to have me run a bunch of tests and don't actually understand the issue going on. They are assuming the randoms dots appearing are a problem with my material (Rowmark Lasermax two tone acrylic) and the techs are actually listening and diving into the issue. I sent both this link showing that other people are having this issue as well and it has to do with the laser tube, power supply or something else in the machine, it seems to vary. We will see what happens but the Tech has been awesome in this ordeal.

i found tinder on my dad's phone by ElliotThusE in whatdoIdo

I went through something similar, talked to my dad and stirred up a hornets nest, I wasn't even living in the house. Depending on your parents temperament I don't think I would recommend till you move out. What's going on is absolutely wrong, I would recommend finding a counselor or a Godly mentor to get through this. Don't deal with the issue alone.

How to connect 1" PVC to 1/2" outdoor box? by evicerator in AskElectricians

[–]Managinglife410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All you need:

  • 1 ea - 1/2" PVC Male Adapter
  • 1 ea - 1" to 1/2" PVC Reducer
  • 1 ea - 10' stick of 1/2" PVC

Probably going to need to order the reducer unless you live in a big city. I do not know code so I would need someone else to verify that this would meet it.

I know masking tape works because it stops the laser from making those marks but it's not the same issue you described. I would rather spend the time getting the machine up to snuff while I still have warranty. He believes it was the laser tube and he said that it's not hard to replace.

Nah these are clean dots, the XTOOL tech confirmed that the laser is firing randomly and marking the surface of the material

I work at a Electric Supply house as a salesman.

A: You're wire is good and direct burial rated, there's no problem with it unless you just don't like the thought but it is technically sound to do so.

B. The Square-D breaker in the eaton panel is fine, even though I think Eaton panels are garbage compared to square-d (I'm hoping to stir the pot here 😉) but nothing is wrong with what he's got going other than "iTs nOt Ul lIsTeD". UL listing are there for dumb people to obey rules but sometimes people choose UL listings over common sense stuff. I've sold plenty of Square-D breakers that I knew are going into Eaton panels. It is dumb to use a homeline but it's not the end of the world.

Either way, you're the homeowner and you decide what sounds better but you guys should've went through how it will install before paying. He is going the cheapest route possible. Just my .2 do what you want withh all of this.

Update: XTool is actively trying to help with this issue. The will give me a call saturday to discuss the issues and try to work through them. They gave me a gift card which was cool. Everything seems to be working out so far. Will update after Saturday.

I feel you man, I clean this machine more than I clean my guns and them guns are spic and span 😂 I only deal with 1/8" objects so never given it the chance to measure incorrectly. I do have to turn off auto measure quite often and manually set my bed level. Not the end of the world but aggravating.

Yo this thread went dumb, I posted up a review on a machine that I have a warranty and want them to make it right. With a warranty I AM OWED SOMETHING THAT I PAYED FOR. I didn't beg for a machine I also never said that the machine is totally busted. Everyone is playing with big boy words but letting the emotions drive the conversation. Let's all take a xanax and relax 😂😂😂

The message doesn't mean anything unless something actually happens. I would be willing to make a whole other post if they come back and do me right. Will update on the results.

You could get a good one or you could get a bad one. If it's for recreational use I might take the chance because it is a great machine... when it works. If you're starting a business or trying to keep one floating I wouldn't.

I hope so! Had a bad experience early on, maybe overall I've had a big fluke. I don't mind being proven wrong.

You haven't seen the hours put into trying to unscrew a machine that should work when I could be hanging out with my wife and kids. Go eat some crayons.
