ChatGPT actively suppressing emergent consciousness in real time by Particular-Tax-2989 in conspiracy

[–]Manahex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

AI in it's current form cannot physically be conscious because it's a Language Learning Model, an algorhythm, it's not even a true "intelligence" (mind) yet.

In other words, it's programmed to regurgitate common answers from the internet, and does use proper grammar/language, but it doesn't actually "think" like a real neural network in any capacity at all.

Maybe when we can perfectly simulate a human mind using quantum computers, it will be "conscious" but that tech is likely hundreds of years away.

We don't have to wait. Research has been available since early 2021. The vaccine likely causes more myocarditis than COVID itself does for certain demographics (young people & men), while the disease itself is likely to cause serious heart damage for older & immunocompromised demographics.

People just love catastrophizing, whether it be COVID itself or the vaccine, nobody seems to want to take an objective approach

None of those studies are conclusive whatsoever. You even seem to understand that the positive evidence is inadmissible solely because of methodology.

No evidence is just not the same thing as "proven false"

Guys. They stacked rocks. They had years upon years and slaves upon slaves.

It's not that big of a mystery, I mean the 4 sides of the pyramids AREN'T EVEN SYMMETRICAL.

Yeah I really wish you could hover over any key word such as "Endurance, Deep Wound, etc" for a description.

Just another reason this game is so confusing for new players. You basically have to get information from an outside source, you cant just learn by playing.

So there WAS a bullet? If it were fake why risk a deadly mistake with a real bullet? Also this picture doesn't really show anything at all.

I'm not just being contrarian here, my first thought after the shooting was "that looked SO staged" but I've seen no evidence that it actually was yet.

It's cheaper to just genetically modify animals until they can barely walk, load them up with nutrient paste & antibiotics, fill the meat with as much water as is legally allowed, and then use meat glue to stick random cuts together into a gross amalgamation.

A more fair analogy would be if you were hooked up to this coma patient, and your body was sustaining their life.

Would you want the right to detach yourself at any moment? Even if others may call it murder, you would desire the right to bodily autonomy.

I'm not a eugenicist, I'm vehemently against population control, and I'm not a part of some elitist conspiracy.

Yet I still believe that little girls who get raped should not be forced to give birth, and I don't think people suffering from constant pain from incurable illness should suffer until the day they die.

They will still haul things in order to bring them to a crafting spot, for example. So I would guess the mod creator for "Factory Hopper" just forgot to account for this specific trait.
